Happy March everyone!! I wanted to share my last month's everyday beauty faves with all you ladies out there. Take a look!
Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50 - One word: amazing. So I'm not the type of girl who wears foundation on a regular basis because I get ready really fast for casual events, however, for formal events / parties / date nights / when I want to look better than I usually do.. this is my go-to product. This IT Cosmetics foundation was developed by plastic surgeons so it provides you with full coverage as well as moisturizing your skin, minimizing your pores and, protecting your skin from the sun! Most importantly for me, it doesn't cause breakouts which is huge since I find that most foundations aren't great for your skin.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Towelettes - Makeup wipes are truly the greatest creation on the planet. They truly save you so much time and give you no excuse not to take your makeup off before you go to bed. I've always liked Neutrogena makeup wipes since they are so easy to find in stores and they come in the smaller travel size packets which are super convenient for my lifestyle. However, after wiping my face with Neutrogena wipes and then wiping with these Clinique towelettes and finding out that there was still powder / foundation / whatever on my face... like hello??? ew!! Clearly Neutrogena wipes were only doing half of their job when I thought my face was completely clean the whole time. These towelettes will forever be a major game changer in my book.
Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer - I freaking love this stuff. This is a product that I also mainly use for more formal events and parties (when I actually take time to put my makeup on), but it seriously changed my whole makeup routine. Before using this Smashbox primer, I never understood why my eyeshadow got so creasy and gross or why it would be completely gone by the end of the night. Apparently I was missing the crucial step of putting on primer before the shadow. Since then, I have tested out numerous different eyeshadow primers and still find this one to be my favorite by far.
EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 - Like most people, I don't enjoy putting on sunscreen...at all. However, wrinkles are ugly. Sorry people that's the truth. Oh, and don't think you can rely on Botox later in life either ... it wears off. So time to suck it up and put that sunscreen on. This sunscreen was first introduced to me by my dermatologist who insisted I wear it during the months leading up to my wedding. I didn't fully listen to her until I saw one of my best friends wearing it in LA (funny how that works). So I took my friend's advice and tried it and now I can't live or travel without it. Its the best! Its also the only sunscreen I've found that is actually good for your skin and doesn't cause any breakouts. Definitely worth the splurge.
What are your favorite beauty products?? Comment below and tell me what your favorite products are and if there are any I should try during the month of March!!
