Hi guysssss! Last week my parents came to visit us!! I was so excited to finally have some visitors in Fort Myers, FL...you have no idea. Anyway, they flew in for the night and I got to take them to a Red Sox game! While we were at the game, we made a "quick" stop at the team store and ended up buying more Red Sox clothes than I could have ever imagined (oops). At least now I'm all set with new Red Sox gear for the 2017 season :)
Although we had to leave the game after the 2nd inning because my parents had a flight to catch, I had the best time showing them around Fort Myers.
Another highlight of the week was the Red Sox team party Saturday night. The party was casino themed and had a DJ and Blackjack and Roulette tables for players and fans to mingle at. There were also amazing food stations! My favorite was the soft taco station and salad station. Drew loved the lobster roll station and meat station. The dessert station was of course delicious too. We had fun taking pictures at the photo booth and checking out the cigar area where you could pick any type cigar you wanted and someone would roll it up for you.
Other than my parents visiting and the team party we attended, I baked peanut butter cookies filled with chocolate for Drew, and played some tennis and golf! I usually only play golf in Hawaii, but I had been longing to play in Florida because we are surrounded by so many golf courses. The golf course we were able to get a tee time ended up being pretty packed since it was the weekend, however, I still had a lot of fun smacking some golf balls and checking the water holes to see if there were any alligators.
This week, we are kicking off our Monday by going fishing with some of Drew's teammates. Hopefully, I will have a few pictures to share with you all of the big fish we catch this afternoon. Wish us luck :)
